I love that. Adjustment implies choice and empowerment. When I adjust for somebody I am doing so out of choice. I adjust, because I see that the adjustment will benefit me or somebody else. I need to be willing to adjust, but I want to do it out of choice and love for someone rather than feeling compelled out of guilt or fear of repercussion.
