Perfectionism is the lie that tries to have us believe that somehow God expects us to be perfect.
My truth is that God loves everything about me, including those so-called imperfect parts. And when it comes down to it, the so-called imperfect parts are really blessings. They become blessings to others because we can then be real and authentic.
Authenticity creates connection. When we can accept our imperfections, it is an entry point to connect with others. Through that connection you then inspire others to accept and love themselves more. We all win in this scenario.
